The Norlok Surelok III is Norlok’s flagship floor-mounted clinching machine, built in Brantford, Ontario by Norlok Technology Inc. It forms a Clinchlok joint — the upper tooling squeezes two plies of sheet metal between a punch and die, locking them together with no rivets, bolts, fasteners, heat or adhesives, no fumes, and little or no damage to painted or galvanized finishes.

With a 25-inch throat and a 2-1/2-inch adjustable stroke, the Surelok III clinches with 5 tons of force using only 90 psi shop air, while using one-third less air than the previous generation. Its intelligent safety stroke keeps the pinch point under 1/4 inch even at the full 2-1/2-inch stroke, and the close-reach lower arm, two-piece die holder and insert, and reversible tooling make it fast to set up and easy to change over — stainless steel ready, with a two-minute punch and die changeover.
