The Norlok Surelok II E & P Series is a floor-mounted clinching machine family from Norlok Technology Inc. of Brantford, Ontario, available with an 18-inch or 25-inch throat. It forms a Clinchlok joint — the upper tooling squeezes two plies of sheet metal between a punch and die, locking them together with no rivets, bolts, fasteners, heat or adhesives, no fumes, and little or no damage to painted or galvanized finishes.

The Surelok II fastens sheet from 32 ga up to 14 ga. Its urethane punch assembly, close-reach lower arm and two-piece die holder and insert keep set-up simple, and the adjustable stroke with intelligent safety stroke keeps the pinch point under 1/4 inch at a 1-inch stroke. A Lexan guard, air surge tank, air filter/regulator and frame-mounted tool kit are included, and both series include auto return and an advanced power unit that runs about 10% faster.

E Series and P Series

• E Series — the basic, entry-level machine.
• P Series — the production-oriented machine. The P Series includes, and the E Series offers as options: a production punch assembly, extended warranty to 3 years, high-speed control and a laser pointer.
• Optional Production Package: robust production tooling for thicker material, 3-year warranty, storage drawer, laser pointer and 2 additional tooling dies.
• Optional reversible tooling; optional 12 in. x 18 in. side table on both series.
• Models: SL II 18 and SL II 25.
